An introduction to
Celtic Warriors Wheelchair Basketball Club

Warriors league team 2007/2008 (Photo by Anna Jackson)
The Celtic Warriors Wheelchair Basketball club used to be called the Chester Wheelchair Jets - and had a name change in the summer of 2007 to reflect their move to Darland Sports Centre in North Wales and also to reflect the number of 'Celtic' players in the club. The team will play in the 2nd division of the GB National league in 2007/2008 having been promoted at the end of the 2006/2007 season. They also play a number of friendly games to give all members the opportunity to play matches.
Wheelchair Basketball can be played by people with and without disabilities- Our club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. So come and have a go – we guarantee you will enjoy it
