PARENTS / GUARDIANS
Hi everyone - thanks to all of you who replied to my email about the summer training, we have had a chat and decided that due to a number of senior and juniors players being away over the summer we will only be training on August 2nd and 9th - there will be no training on July 26, August 16th,or August 30th - we didn't have a session on 23rd so we have only had to cancel three sessions so hopefully you wont all be too bored over the summer
On August 2nd and 9th we will do an extended Junior session 12pm-2pm - Senior Development players can come from 1.30pm-2.30pm and senior session is on as usual from 2pm-4.30pm - if you have any questions on what sessions you should be at or the times etc - please let me know ASAP.
Senior league team training sessions are on as usual on a Weds night for the whole of the summer- please can we encourage all the league team to attend as we need to work on our game plan for the season.
If you are unable to attend the 2nd or 9th of August please let us know ASAP
An introduction to
Celtic Warriors Wheelchair Basketball Club

Warriors league team 2007/2008 (Photo by Anna Jackson)
The Celtic Warriors Wheelchair Basketball club used to be called the Chester Wheelchair Jets - and had a name change in the summer of 2007 to reflect their move to Darland Sports Centre in North Wales and also to reflect the number of 'Celtic' players in the club. The team will play in the 2nd division of the GB National league in 2007/2008 having been promoted at the end of the 2006/2007 season. They also play a number of friendly games to give all members the opportunity to play matches.
Wheelchair Basketball can be played by people with and without disabilities- Our club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. So come and have a go – we guarantee you will enjoy it

CLUB HOODIES -
Sorry about the delay - the hoodies arrived and were really poor quality - we are seeking other firms to do either a high quality industrial strength screen print or a new embroidered version. If you have already paid for your hoodies the money is still in the account and you will still get your hoodie. If you have not paid we will do new forms when we have decided what firm we are using.

New hoodie logo - Thanks to Chris Cooper for doing this for us..
